By booking a consultation with Verde Naturopathy or purchasing products through Verde Naturopathy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Naturopathic Services
Verde Naturopathy provides naturopathic consultations which may include dietary and lifestyle recommendations, nutritional supplementation and herbal medicine, where appropriate.
Naturopathic consultations are not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis or emergency care. Where appropriate, you may be advised to consult your GP or another suitably qualified healthcare practitioner.
Please do not discontinue or alter prescribed medication without first discussing this with the prescribing healthcare practitioner.
Your Responsibility
To provide you with safe and appropriate naturopathic care, please provide accurate and complete information regarding your health history, current symptoms, medical conditions, medications, supplements and other treatments.
Please inform Verde Naturopathy of any changes to your health, medications or supplements during the course of your treatment.
Please also inform us before commencing any new supplements, herbal medicines or other complementary medicines during the course of your treatment so that potential interactions or contraindications can be considered.
Recommendations provided as part of your treatment plan are individualised for you and should not be shared with or used by another person.
Consultations
Consultations are available in person and via telehealth. Appointment availability, locations and consultation options are displayed at the time of booking.
Please ensure you arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your consultation may need to be shortened so that subsequent appointments are not affected.
For telehealth consultations, please ensure you have a suitable device, reliable internet connection and a private location for your consultation.
If technical difficulties prevent a telehealth consultation from proceeding, alternative arrangements will be made where reasonably possible.
Payment
Payment is required at the completion of your consultation unless otherwise arranged.
Where prepayment is required at the time of booking, your appointment may not be confirmed until payment has been received.
Payment can be made using the payment methods made available by Verde Naturopathy at the time of booking or consultation.
Products must be paid for prior to collection, postage or dispensing unless otherwise arranged.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice may incur the full consultation fee.
Where an appointment has been prepaid, any applicable cancellation or non-attendance fee may be deducted from the amount paid, with the remaining balance refunded where applicable.
Extenuating circumstances may be considered at the discretion of Verde Naturopathy.
Products and Prescriptions
Products may be recommended or prescribed as part of your individual treatment plan. These may include nutritional supplements, herbal medicines or other practitioner products where appropriate.
Please follow the dosage and directions provided with your prescription or treatment plan.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage unless advised to do so by your practitioner.
Please notify Verde Naturopathy if you experience new, worsening or unexpected symptoms after commencing a prescribed product or treatment.
If you experience symptoms of a serious allergic reaction or another medical emergency, stop the suspected product and seek urgent medical attention or call 000.
Product Orders and Collection
Products ordered through Verde Naturopathy must be paid for prior to collection, postage or dispensing unless otherwise arranged.
Please collect products within the timeframe arranged with Verde Naturopathy. If you are unable to collect your order, please contact us to arrange an alternative.
Products ordered through a third-party dispensary are also subject to that provider’s own terms, payment, shipping and returns policies.
Shipping
Where products or personalised preparations are posted directly by Verde Naturopathy, shipping costs are payable by the client and will be advised at the time of purchase.
Free collection may be available by prior arrangement.
Products supplied through third-party dispensaries are subject to the applicable dispensary’s shipping fees, delivery times and terms and conditions.
Verde Naturopathy is not responsible for delays caused by postal, courier or third-party delivery services once an order has been dispatched, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Returns and Refunds
Due to health, hygiene and safety considerations, some products may not be eligible for return or exchange where you have simply changed your mind.
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not meet the consumer guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law, please contact Verde Naturopathy so that an appropriate remedy can be arranged.
Products purchased directly through a third-party dispensary are subject to that provider’s returns and refund policies.
