Meet Mel.
Mel is a mother, tea lover, avid foodie and degree-qualified naturopath. She resides amongst the trees in the Perth Hills.
She has always held a passion for holistic health and wellbeing since a young age. Chronic hormonal imbalances and gut issues led her to her first naturopathy appointment where she gained a newfound respect for the profession after achieving success in returning to health.
Mel is passionate about educating and empowering clients to achieve their health goals, working to restore balance between their mental, physical and emotional health. She has witnessed firsthand the healing power of herbs and nutrients, incorporating them into her own life as well as her client’s. Mel also runs Verde Botanicals, offering small-batch, handmade herbal remedies to keep her creative juices flowing.
Mel has a keen interest in women’s health, gut health, metabolic dysfunction, autoimmunity and mental health. She keeps up to date with the latest research and findings on all things naturopathy, blending traditional knowledge with evidence-based medicine to achieve positive health outcomes. When she’s not consulting or creating, you’ll most likely find her brewing a cuppa, chasing after her three children or off bushwalking.
